FIAT 500L

Fiat 500L Picture

GENEVA — The 2013 Fiat 500L compact crossover will get several engines, including the new 0.9-liter TwinAir, as well as more than 30 exterior color choices — and "fragrance diffusers." It debuts at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show.
The Fiat 500L will also get a 1.4-liter four-cylinder gas engine and a MultiJet 1.3-liter diesel engine when it launches in Europe later this year. It will deubt in the U.S. early next year.
Fiat said the five-passenger hatchback will also get an eco:Drive application that gives the driver advice for cutting fuel consumption. The EPA has yet to rate the 2013 Fiat 500L. It will also get the optional my:Car, which diagnoses, records and certifies the car's history and state of maintenance.
The 500L — the L in the car's name stands for "large" — is 163 inches long, 70 inches wide and 65 inches tall.
Fiat 500L buyers will get a choice of white, gray or black for the alloy wheels and a range of accessories, including custom graphics, chrome-plating, ski roof bars and a bicycle holder. The 14-cubic-foot trunk can hold up to five suitcases, said Fiat.
The 500L will be built on Fiat's SUSW (Small U.S. Wide) platform, which also will underpin a new compact Jeep crossover in the U.S., as well as replacements overseas for the Fiat Punto and Palio.

2012 Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati

abarth 695 tributo maserati picture
A few years after Abarth brought the 695 Tributo Ferrari to the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show, the Italian automaker is set to head to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with another commemorative, limited edition model that pays homage to another Italian contemporary - the 695 Tributo Maserati.
According to Abarth, the 695 Tributo Maserati is the confluence of the things we love about Abarth and Maserati, particularly the combination of "the highest level of elegance combined with the comforts of a car, but with the handling that’s suitable for everyday driving. "
In terms of its design, the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati comes with a "Pontevecchio Bordeaux" paint finish and matched with upholstery dressed in Poltrona Frau leather beige sand. True to its name as an elegant iteration of the popular Italian hatch, the 695 Tributo Maserati also comes with carbon inserts, as well as a matte finish and trim on the dashboard, a black tricolor leather steering wheel, door panels and rear panels that have been given a gray track treatment by UV-LUX, and a new set of 17" alloy wheels.
As far as powertrain is concerned, the Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati will be powered by a 1.4-liter Turbo T-Jet engine that produces 180 horsepower and mated to an electro-mechanical Abarth Competition transmission with steering wheel controls.

FIAT 500 Mopar Stinger

2012 Fiat 500 Stinger Photos

What’s small, yellow, and vaguely looks like a 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth? That would be the new 2012 Fiat 500 Mopar Stinger, which is available by way of two dealer-installed packages offered through Chrysler’s Mopar parts and service brand.
We know what you’re thinking: another sporty take on the 500? Fiat’s small North American portfolio already incorporates the 500 Sport, which adds some exterior flair, a stiffer suspension, and 16-inch aluminum wheels. Later this year, the new 2012 500 Abarth -- packing a 160-hp, turbocharged 1.4-liter I-4, along with a number of performance goodies -- will also be in showrooms nationwide come fall. Regardless, Mopar thinks there’s room for a third model; one for customers who want something a little flashier than a 500 Sport, but aren’t quite ready to take the full Abarth leap.
The first step -- what Mopar calls the Stage One package -- primarily focuses infusing a bit of the Abarth’s visual attitude inside and out. Buyers start with a giallo 500 Sport, which gives the Stinger the Sport’s unique flared rocker sills and roof spoiler. Mopar’s touches are quite dependent on dark chrome: it’s used on the front fascia’s whiskers, on emblems, mirror caps, tailgate trim, door handles, and even the headlamp projectors themselves. Lenses for head-, fog-, and taillamps are all smoked to match. 17-inch wheels are cribbed from the Abarth, while a thick side stripe fades to a checkerboard pattern above the rear fenders.
The Stinger’s cabin is dressed to match its exterior. Leather seat covers sourced from Katzkin boast Alcantara inserts, along with bright yellow bolsters and embroidered 500 logos. Interior revisions are otherwise constrained to a new shift knob and a carbon fiber dash applique.
Mopar promises its Stage Two kit to add a little more power underhood, but the specifics are still a bit foggy. The Stinger retains the 500 Sport’s 1.4-liter I-4 with Fiat’s Multiair valve actuation system. In stock form, that engine produces about 101 hp and 98 lb-ft of torque. Along with cross-drilled brake rotors, the Stage Two package also adds a cold air intake and a less restrictive exhaust system Mopar says the latter pair should provide a bump in both horsepower and torque, although it’s shying away from specific figures at this point. We’d expect those gains to be mild, at best, and far short of the power provided by the 500 Abarth.
Pricing will be the key to the Stinger’s success -- if any -- in Fiat showrooms. Mopar officials acknowledge as much, while also admitting they have a relatively small window in which to play. Obviously, adding the Stinger packages will drive up the $18,000 MSRP of the 500 Sport. Price it too high, however, and you run the risk of bumping into the $22,000 base price of the more potent 500 Abarth. Official pricing won’t be revealed until later this fall and a completed Stinger needs to strike right between those price points in order to remain competitive.

FIAT 500 EV

Fiat will start building a battery-electric version of its 500 compact this year, marking the Italian automaker's entrance into the EV production market. So said Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne in an official Chrysler tweet recently that said:
Marchionne: at Chrysler we are working on an electric version of the Fiat 500 that we'll begin manufacturing later this year.
As you can read, Marchionne didn't say how many EVs would be produced or how much it would cost, though the 500 EV will likely have about 100 horsepower as well as about a 90-mile single-charge range, the website said. Marchionne once estimated that Fiat would lose about $10,000 on each 500 EV sold. Fiat hasn't put out an official statement on the model.

Fiat unveiled its 500 Elettra battery-electric concept at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show, though has been relatively quiet since. A privately converted 500 EV was notably owned by now-deceased Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

Earlier this month, Corrado Clini, a member of Italy's Ministry of the Environment, said Fiat missed an opportunity to gain from growing global demand for electric-drive vehicles by choosing to work on more fuel-efficient internal combustion engines instead of hybrids and electric powertrains, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Sexy 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Ad Gets The Pop-Up Video Treatment

2012 Fiat 500 'Seduction' commercial

By now, you've probably seen the sexy new "Seduction" commercial for the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth -- the one where a humdrum cubicle clone has a close encounter with an Italian supermodel, only to discover that she is, in fact, a car. Now, VH1 has given that clip the pop-up video treatment.
Among the fun facts we learn as the ad rolls by:
* The spot was directed by Luca Maroni, whose name might not mean much in the film world, but he's a fairly big deal where commercials are concerned.
* The office boy is Matthew Rocheleau, who's just getting his feet wet in Hollywood.
* The supermodel is, as you might imagine, a real supermodel: Catrinel Menghia. (Though we have to visit Wikipedia to learn that Ms. Menghia is Romanian by birth, not Italian. Bless you, Wikipedia.)
* Menghia is married to a former Italian soccer champ, which might explain why her accent is pretty spot-on. (Sadly, news reports indicate that her marriage to Massimo Brambati may be coming to an end.)
What the video doesn't provide is a translation of Menghia's spiel, which, for those who care, goes something like: "What are you looking at? Hey, what are you looking at? Are you undressing me with your eyes? Poor guy. You just can’t help it, can you? Is your heart racing? Is your head spinning? Do you feel lost thinking that I could be yours forever?"
But hey, why should we give it all away when you could be wasting a small chunk of your Friday watching this clip for yourself?

FIAT 500 Recieves Top Safety Pick by IIHS

The 2012 Fiat 500 has earned Top Safety Pick status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), signifying that it’s scored a rating of “good” (the agency’s highest) in frontal offset and side impact crash testing, as well as in roof strength testing.

2012 Fiat 500 IIHS crash testing

Top Safety Pick models must also have sufficient head and neck protection in rear-impact crashes, and must be equipped with electronic stability control (ESC). Prior to the 2011 model year, electronic stability control (which can minimize the chance of a rollover accident) wasn't mandated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, but all 2012 and later model year cars must be equipped with ESC.

Only 2012 Fiat 500 models built after July of 2011 are Top Safety Pick rated, as earlier models used a different driver’s seat structure. This assembly was changed beginning with August 2011 production to increase occupant safety in both frontal and rear crashes.

The 2012 Fiat 500 joins the 2011 and 2012 Ford Fiesta as the only minicars earning the IIHS Top Safety Pick designation. While you can’t rewrite the laws of physics (and force still equals mass times acceleration), the award is proof that even small and fuel efficient cars can be safe

Limited Edition Fiat

2012 Fiat 500 Nation Limited Edition wallpaper image

The Fiat line-up that’s headed to the 2011 Bologna Motor Show will also include a special edition 500 model that has been designed to commemorate the car’s introduction to the US market.
The special edition Fiat 500 model is called the "Nation Limited Edition" and it will come in hard-top and cabrio trims. As far as the former is concerned, Fiat dressed it up in an "America Blue" exterior paint finish and it comes with a bevy of unique trims, including a "Stars & Stripes" package on the sides and on the mirror casings, and a new set of 16" alloy wheels.
Meanwhile, the 500C version will come in a "Tri-Coat White" exterior paint finish and will also feature the same "Stars & Stripes" package on the sides and the mirror casings, as well as a new set of 16" alloy wheels. A different wrinkle on the 500C is the red soft-top roof, further enhancing the color scheme of the car as a celebration of our beloved land.
Powertrain figures for both the 500 and 500C remains the same - a 1.4-liter, in-line four-cylinder engine with state-of-the-art MultiAir technology that delivers 101 horsepower and 98 lb/ft of torque - although customers who opt for the 500C will have to shell out more money to be able to buy one.
Both models will be limited to 500 units apiece with the hard-top version coming with a price tag of €14,500, which is about $19,500 based on current exchange rates. As for the 500C, that one will cost you €18,000, which when converted, hits $24,200.

2012 Fiat 500 Abarth

2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Rear Left Side View
After having been absent from the U.S. for more than 30 years, the Cinquecento is making up for lost time with a steady stream of variants. First up was the all-new 2012 Fiat 500, which arrived on our shores this past spring, followed closely by its 500C roll-top convertible sibling. Both of them are cheek-pinchingly cute, but we've been pining away for the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth, the bad boy of the 500 litter that is debuting for the first time in U.S.-spec form at the 2011 L.A. Auto Show.
Running deep in the 500 Abarth's blood is the spirit of racing legend Karl Abarth, who believed in "small but wicked" cars. During the 1950s, Abarth was known for transforming small, lightweight everyday cars into track-ready beasts, and his spirit is reflected in this type-A Cinquecento, which receives a sport-tuned suspension, bigger wheels, and a more muscular stance than its mild-mannered counterpart.

The power figures for the U.S.-spec model come in at 160 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque from its 1.4-liter turbocharged four -- roughly matching those of the Euro-market Abarth Esseesse model. While Fiat has not revealed the details on the Abarth's EPA rating, we don't expect it to be much worse than the manual 500's 30/38 mpg city/highway rating. Also absent from the release was the Abarth's 0-60 number; we anticipate it will be close to the Euro-spec Esseesse-tuned Abarth's time of 6.9 seconds.
The Abarth features a unique MacPherson suspension design with a 40-percent stiffer spring rate and 0.6-inch lower ride height over the base car, helping to reduce body roll and improve overall handling. In addition, the micro-car utilizes an Abarth-tuned electronic stability control system (On, Partial Off, Full Off) that works with Fiat's Torque Transfer Control system to maximize throttle performance during hard cornering. The Abarth's "Sport" mode further maximizes the driving experience by tightening steering feel, sharpening throttle response, and quickening shift times.

Aside from looking more aggressive with the Scorpion badge, the Abarth is further distinguished from the garden-variety 500 by a blacked-out fascia with twin "nostrils" designed to maximize airflow in and out of twin intercoolers. Side skirts provide a more athletic profile, and flared wheel arches further aid ventilation of the brake system. Standard on the Abarth are 16-inch wheels, but high-performance 17-inchers are available, and are offset by 11.1-inch front discs clamped by red single-piston front calipers in the front, and 9.4-inch discs in the back.
Also in the back the Abarth sports a rear spoiler that extends the roofline and aids with overall aerodynamics. A black-accented rear diffuser and double-tipped exhausts help complete the edgy look. Distinctive vintage plaques are also available for the driver and passenger rear-quarter panels. A tri-color (red, white, and green) "shot through" arrow is available, along with additional exterior decals that include the signature Abarth triple-stripe logo that runs horizontally along the lower bodyside with a gradient effect. Exterior mirror caps that match the stripe also are available.

Inside, the thick-rimmed Abarth-themed steering wheel has a flat bottom and is wrapped in perforated leather. Cruise control, audio, and Fiat's Blue&Me hands-free communication buttons are mounted on the wheel, while LED shift lights illuminate during gear changes on an analog turbo-boost gauge unique to the Abarth. Should buyers opt for TomTom navigation, there will be a 4.3-inch touch-screen display. Race-inspired features for the interior include aluminum foot pedals with black rubber trim, and a black leather-wrapped shift knob accented with red stitching. Front seats feature a one-piece design with large side bolsters and a racing-harness pass-through, and rear passengers will enjoy raised seats bolstered for added back support. The headliner and pillars are finished in black, while seats are available in black cloth or leather, or red and black leather.

Fiat also loaded the Abarth with a plethora of safety and security features (more than 35) that include seven airbags and smart pedals that move out of the way during an impact to help protect the driver's feet and legs.
"Bringing the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth to the U.S. enables us to reach out to driving enthusiasts who want Italian performance at an attainable price," said Olivier Francois, head of the Fiat Brand and chief information marketing officer, in a statement.
The only thing left to do is to drive it -- hard -- to see if this little Italian bad boy has the chops to take on the Mini S and its other pint-sized, go-fast competition.

2012 Fiat 500 Wins Top Safety Rating in Minicar Category

Just the Facts:
  • The 2012 Fiat 500 cleared a critical hurdle on Tuesday, winning a top safety rating in minicar crash tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
  • The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also announced that the 2012 Fiat 500 will be among the 74 vehicles it will crash test for the new model year.
  • The Fiat 500 and Ford Fiesta are the only minicar to earn the top safety rating thus far by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

ARLINGTON, Virginia — The 2012 Fiat 500 cleared a critical hurdle on Tuesday, winning a top safety rating in minicar crash tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The award applies to Fiat 500s built after July 2011 because the driver's seat structure was modified to improve occupant protection in frontal and rear-end crashes, the IIHS noted in a statement.
The announcement is reassuring news to consumers who might wonder if they're trading safety considerations for fuel savings. The Fiat 500 with a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission returns 27 mpg in city driving and 34 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA. The AAA Daily Fuel Gauge on Wednesday said the average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline stood at $3.47.
The Fiat 500 and Ford Fiesta are the only minicar to earn the top safety rating thus far by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also announced that the 2012 Fiat 500 will be among the 74 vehicles it will crash test for the new model year.
The Fiat 500 will be tested as part of the agency's five-star safety rating program. As of Wednesday morning, those results were not yet posted at Safercar.gov.
Word of Fiat's safety accomplishment was greeted by the headline "J.Lo's Famous Booty in Good Hands," by USA Today — a reference to Fiat's new high-profile advertising campaign starring Jennifer Lopez.

FIAT of Tacoma, home to the FIAT, packed with all the features!!

Fiat 500 Features

2012 Fiat 500

The Fiat 500 marks the company's return to America after an absence of more than two decades.
Various reports estimate the Fiat 500 with the 1.4 engine and manual transmission will do 0-60 mph in less than 10 seconds, which should be more than adequate for most American driving needs. Fuel economy? The U.S. EPA estimates a stick-shift model will deliver 30 in the city and 38 on the highway. With automatic, the numbers are 28/34.
Despite its urban-friendly size and an approximately $16,000 base price, the Fiat 500 Pop is well equipped with electric power steering, ABS, curtain-side airbags, and MP3 plug-in all standard. Sport models start around $18,000, and the stylish Lounge comes in at $20K. Pop and Sport come with a 5-speed manual transmission. Lounge models have a 6-speed automatic standard; it's optional on Pop and Sport. Options include a Mini-style smorgasbord of funky "personalization" features, including various decals, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a sunroof.
Where is the American-market Fiat 500 built? Since the alliance with Chrysler went through, the car is being built in one of Chrysler's existing assembly plants in Toluca, Mexico.
The 500 has undergone several revisions to meet the expectations of the American market. Most importantly, the 500 gets a "real" automatic transmission for its American adventure. The 6-speed unit is similar to the Aisin-built gearbox used in, you guessed it, the Mini Cooper. Also, the suspension has been retuned for a more comfortable ride, sound deadening materials have been added, and the body structure has been beefed up in key areas to improve passenger protection in the event of a collision.
On the face of it, the 500 should be just the car to put Fiat back on the U.S. map. It's undoubtedly well timed: Appealing, affordable, and most of all, fairly easy on gas. If it's well built and reliable too, it can't miss. Imagine saying that about a Fiat.
A Notable Feature of the Fiat 500
Choice is the word when it comes to the Fiat 500. Laura Soave, head of the Fiat Brand in North America, says the 500 can be built in more than 500,000 different ways. There 14 different exterior colors. Interior options are numerous as well, with black or ivory "environments" and several different seat and material choices including cloth and three colors of leather. Each Fiat dealer will have a "Studio" with consultants to help you customize the 500 to your liking. Soave says a custom-built 500 will take about 45 days from order to delivery, but the company hopes to reduce the wait time as production ramps up.
Fiat dealers will also sell various accessories to increase the personalization possibilities. Body graphics ranging from simple stripes to elaborate "wraps" that cover the whole car will be available. Small things like different badges and covers for the car's key will be on offer too.

Fiat Rolls Out Jennifer Lopez ‘My World’ TV Ad

Fiat SpA
Jennifer Lopez drives a Fiat 500 convertible in a new ad.
Italian car maker Fiat began running a television ad for the 2012 Fiat 500 subcompact car featuring the singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.
The spot is aimed at winning a wider, more diverse audience for the 500 compared with the perceived market for rivals like the BMW Mini Cooper and Volkswagen Beetle. It is also meant to present the Fiat as a car that reflects authenticity, an elusive quality increasingly pursued by car companies.
In the commercial, called “My World,” Lopez provides the voice-over and is shown driving a white 500 convertible through Manhattan and into the Bronx where she came of age. The ad includes the song “Until It Beats No More,” from Lopez’s new album, “Love?” and is airing on national broadcast and cable networks.
“The commercial tells the story of how the simple elements of our upbringing can help explain who we are, where we’re going and serve as a source of inspiration to achieve our goals in life,” said Olivier Francois, head of Fiat and marketing boss for Chrysler Group LLC. “That drive and determination is the common thread that is shared with the Fiat brand and our philosophy that ‘Life is Best When Driven.’”

ABARTH GIVES FERRARI A BAMBINO

The Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, the ultimate version of Abarth’s hot Bambino, has arrived in Australia offing a combination of performance, equipment and features that truely bring new meaning to the phrase ‘pocket rocket’ with a 225 kmh top speed and the ability to dispatch the race to 100 kmh in less than seven seconds.
Built as a tribute to the historic performance links between Ferrari and Abarth, the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari clearly displays the two legendary companies’ shared values that include a passion for performance, a racing soul, attention to detail and Italian style.

Abarth and Ferrari are two great names that have contributed, with conviction and dedication, to the legend of Italian racing that is known around the world. The men behind both marques followed very similar careers: first drivers, then tuners and finally heads of companies that command genuine respect in the world of motor racing. These extraordinary men were associated in the past: in 1953 for example, a unique Ferrari-Abarth was born, the Ferrari 166/250 MM Abarth.
The car raced in various international trophies including the legendary Mille Miglia. The tie between the two companies has been reinforced above all by the exhaust systems designed by Abarth specifically for the cars built at Maranello: numerous exhaust systems have been made for various Ferrari models, some of which have won World Championship titles.
In recent years the two brands have started off an even closer collaboration and the result is the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, an exclusive car that on the one hand allows Abarth to expand its range, in this way entering the luxury sports car segment, and on the other offers Ferrari customers a small, high performance car for all mobility requirements, including as a practical urban mobility.
The new Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" is distinguished by a number of stylistic features, but more importantly by substantial modifications developed by Abarth and Ferrari engineers. The engine is a 1.4 Turbo T-Jet 16v, tuned to develop more than 132 kW. This is combined with an MTA (Manual Transmission Automated) electromechanical gearbox with race-inspired steering wheel controls that enhances engine’s performance by reducing gearshift times.

To improve acceleration, the car is fitted with performance tyres on 17’’ alloy wheels featuring a design inspired by Ferrari wheels. Ride and braking systems have also been strengthened to cope with the extra power: modular Brembo 305 mm disc brakes with fixed four-piston calliper disc and special shock absorbers that let you enjoy performance in total safety. And of course there is a “Record Monza” variable back pressure “dual mode” exhaust, designed to improve engine performance and deliver an inspiring sound over 3,000 rpm.
On the outside, the car is finished not just in classic Modena Red, but also in the brand-new shade of Modena Yellow, with carbon fibre door mirrors and B pillar trims. Details such as the wheels and front air intakes are in Racing Grey. This new Abarth is equipped with Xenon headlights with dipped and main beam functions for improved light emission and excellent efficiency under all weather conditions. These elements deliver three times the light intensity and duration of standard halogen lamp headlights.
The interiors are also personalised and demonstrate the attention to detail and the sporting style that are common to both brands. “Abarth Corsa by Sabelt” carbon fibre racing seats are fitted and finished in black leather and Alcantara with a shell and seat base in carbon fibre. These seats offer a perfect blend of racing characteristics – light weight (10 kg less than the standard seat) and the ability hold the body steady against lateral and longitudinal forces, thanks to body support elements filled with crush-resistant foam – with the ergonomics and comfort of road seats.
The black leather steering wheel is characterised by red stitches and a tricolour hub on which the MTA gearshift paddles are mounted, while the instrument panel is specially made by Jaeger, and inspired by typical Ferrari instrumentation. Carbon fibre is used right across the dashboard and around the controls for the MTA gearbox. Attention to detail has also been given to the aluminium racing pedals, which are personalised with the Scorpion logo, as is the aluminium kick plate in the passenger footwell. The interior is embellished with other details too, like the special kick plate passenger footwell, door sill trim and a plate bearing the vehicle series number.
The Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" comes with a special pack to keep it safe and clean. The safety pack includes a dedicated travel bag with an emergency triangle, work gloves, emergency lights, and an Abarth yellow safety vest. The cleaning kit includes Abarth Leather Cleaning Fluid, Abarth Body Wax and Abarth Interior Cleaning fluid. The Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" even comes with its own personalised car cover.
The standard Abarth Travel Pack comprises of a set of “stone washed” black leather luggage designed specifically for the luggage compartment of the Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari". To maximise audio pleasure, the Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" also comes with iPod support package for the Blue&Me Telematics system.
The Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" is available in Australia with a recommended retail price of $69,990 excluding statutory charges, delivery and dealer costs.
“With its size, performance and features, there really is no other car on the market like the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari,” says Andrei Zaitzev, General Manager for Abarth in Australia. “Therefore, it should come as no surprise to learn that it is available in strictly limited numbers!”

Abarth 500 Esseesse

Italian, hard core high performance, race bred chassis, cutting edge engine design. You could be forgiven for thinking that it's a Ferrari...
...but this is an Abarth 500. Abarth in Australia has launched with the Abarth 500 Esseesse, making this the first country to get this variant straight out of the factory.
Compared to the normal Abarth 500, the Australian Esseesse version gets a power boost (from 99 kW to 118 kW), with torque up from 201 to 230 Nm. The Abarth 500 Esseesse also has extra lowered suspension, up-rated springs and suspension, cross drilled brake discs and 7x17 inch alloy wheels in a style unique to the Esseesse.
The new Abarth 500 Esseesse is the real deal - an all out, no holds-barred, uncompromising, high performance pocket rocket with an engine that delivers amazing performance, a race-bred chassis that enables it to be fully utilised across a broad breadth of road conditions and a new appearance that says one thing: This 500 is ready to rock.

About the 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon Edition
Designed exclusively for FIAT Brand’s partnership with BCRF, the new 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon limited-edition model features several exclusive design elements that highlight the Cinquecento’s iconic silhouette.

Based on the highly stylized 2012 Fiat 500 Lounge model, the Pink Ribbon limited-edition is available in Argento (silver) and Bianco (white) exterior paint colors and features a signature dark pink bodyside stripe with “500” logo and an accenting “ribbon” in light pink.

The interior of the Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon adds to the 500 Lounge model’s already stylish interior with unique pink accents contrasting the Nero (black) interior. Highlighting this limited-edition model are Nero leather front and rear seats with pink accent stitching on the perimeter and signature “500” logo embroidered on the front seatbacks and a pink ribbon embroidered on the floor mats. For added detail, pink accents are hand-stitched through the Nero leather steering wheel and provide additional contrast in front of the body-color instrument panel bezel.

And to match this specially appointed Cinquecento, a pair of uniquely designed Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon key fobs provide customers with a personal reminder of the FIAT Brand and BCRF’s partnership to find a cure.

Only 250 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon limited-edition models will be available at FIAT Studios nationwide in October. The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of the 2012 Fiat 500 Pink Ribbon is $22,500 (including $500 destination). For more information, visit
